Training 3

In the ever-changing market place that we live in, we are also responsible for keeping our existing qualified staff up to speed with changes, improvements, new products, health & safety, energy efficiency, the list is endless.  Our unique in-house facility enables us to address these issues on a regular basis. Keeping a steady flow of information, rather than bombarding them with masses of information at one time.

This is combined with external training facilities provided for ACS and other qualifications, to give our staff a well-rounded learning experience.

All in all we aim to make the experience of working at Read & Errington a positive, enjoyable one.  If we achieve this, then it is our belief that this will flow through to the market place and can only reinforce the high level of customer satisfaction that we currently enjoy.

Training 1

The success that Read & Errington have experienced has many contributory factors.  However, one of the features that we can attribute a major proportion of this success to is recruitment and training.

Employment at Read & Errington means commitment.  A commitment that is mutual.  We provide a commitment of sustainable employment in an enjoyable working environment.  An environment where people are stimulated and rewarded for achieving.  Where training and learning are encouraged.  In return we expect our staff to be motivated to deliver the service and end product of what clients expect and deserve.

Training at Read & Errington manifests itself in many forms.  Our apprentices have the traditional path of college and ‘hands on’ workplace experience.  In addition, they have the added bonus of our own in-house training facility at their disposal.  Here, besides the more traditional trade topics, we are able to educate and cover such subjects as customer service and working in occupied premises.

Training 2 We realise that the environment that these young engineers work in, can shape the way they are in future life.  To this extent we want the experience to be positive to that individual as a person.

If we are successful in this, then this trainee will be able to contribute to the success of other individuals further down the line.  Indeed the fact that we have had twelve apprentices qualify is testimony in itself.
