Looking to the future!
Read & Errington would like to continue on its path of controlled growth, particularly through: -
1. Training of apprentices, allowing us to develop our services to cope with the demand of our clients.
2. Maintaining and improving our present training ethos with qualified personal.
3. Motivate, recognise and reward the achievements of our existing workforce.
4. Embracing technology, but at the same time still maintaining control with an individual client focus.
5. Building links within the community, in supporting and encouraging initiatives to improve the environment and area. |

Read & Errington were founded in August 1996 by Martin Read, Alan Errington and Graham Read, with a total workforce of six.
Over the past 9 years, the Company has followed a continuous path of steady and controlled growth.Read & Errington now employ approximately 50 staff, of which 12 have come through the Company’s apprentice training scheme. |
In 2006 Adam Farrar, himself a former trainee, joined the board of Directors.We have been at the forefront of energy efficiency in our area, promoting condensing boilers and energy efficient controls, working closely with the Energy Savings Trust.
In addition to our substantial private clientele, our customer base has grown to include Local Authorities, Housing Association, Private Letting Agents, PLC’s and Response Maintenance Management Companies. Specifically, our major clients include responsive maintenance of gas, heating and hot water for Blackpool Borough Council housing stock and responsive maintenance for Homeserve plc |
| We have also achieved ‘Partner’ status with Blackpool Borough Council for the refurbishment of existing heating systems to the value of £3,000,000 over a five-year period. |
